Today we have three GDP flash
reports that were released. Below you could find the actual figure versus
consensus on a quarterly:
France: 50bps Vs 10bps
Germany: 70bps Vs 60bps
EMU: 30bps Vs 20bps
The consumer price index report
in France for July was lower than expected on a month over month basis, -30bps
Vs -20bps.
Great Britain’s labor market
report for July was better than expected. The claimant count declined 29.2k
versus expectations of a 15k decline. June’s report was revised lower as well
to 29.4k from 21.2k. The International Labor Organization unemployment report
ticked down ten basis points to 4.3%.
In the US, producer prices for
July were unchanged on a month over month basis. Consensus was calling for
prices to rise by 30 basis points.
