The UK started the day off with
the release of June’s retail sales. Sales increased 20bps as expected on a
monthly basis. On a year over year basis, prices increased more than expected,
2.2% Vs 1.6%.
On the domestic front, Jobless claims
in the US beat consensus by a wide margin, 334k Vs 344k.
