Consumer prices in France
increased 20 basis points on a monthly basis versus consensus of 10 basis
points in June. On a year over year basis prices in the wine rich country
increased 90 basis points versus
consensus of 80 basis points.
On the domestic front, US jobless
claims came in higher than consensus, thus missing estimates, 360k Vs 337k.
Import and export prices for June
were virtually flat for the month. Emport prices were in line with Econoday’s
consensus declining 10 basis points on a monthly basis. Import prices missed
consensus, -20bps Vs 10bps.
