Overnight in Japan, Producer
prices for May were in line with consensus. Prices rose modestly on a monthly
and yearly basis.
A report on machine orders was
released last night, as well, in Japan. Machine Orders tanked in April and
surpassed Econoday’s consensus. -8.8% vs -8.1%
Overseas in Europe, the European
Monetary Union (EMU) released their industrial production report which grew
40bps on a monthly basis and declined -60bps on an annual basis.
