Merchandise trade in Germany was below consensus for        May, E14.1 billion Vs E17.0 billion.

Industrial production in Germany declined 100bps in May on a monthly and annual basis.  

The Bank of Canada’s second quarter business outlook survey showed that Canadian business leaders are becoming increasingly cautious about the economic outlook.

Consumer prices in China came in higher than expected on an annual basis for June, 2.7% Vs 2.5%.

Producer prices for China contrasted from the consumer price index. Producer prices declined 2.7% versus an expected decline of 2.6%.
