Jobless claims in the US came in
at 334k, which was lower than the previous reading and Econoday’s consensus.
Retail sales for May in the US
rose 60bps points on a month over month basis. This reading was better than
April’s reading. It also exceeded expectations, relative to Econoday’s
consensus.
Import and export prices in the
US declined in May. Import prices dropped 60bps month over month. Export prices
dropped 50bps month over month.
US Business inventories rose
30bps month over month in April.
