for June was slightly lower than expected on a monthly basis, 30bps Vs 40bps.
Retail sales in Germany, for May,
was better than expected on a monthly basis, 80bps Vs 40bps.
Over in the borderline socialists
state of France, consumption on manufactured consumer goods, for May were
modestly higher than economists’ expectations, 100bps Vs (-10bps).
Consumer prices in Italy for June
was in line with consensus on a monthly basis, prices grew 30bps.
Consumer prices in Germany were
uneventful and virtually flat for the month of June, but still a little higher
than expected, 10bps Vs 0bps.
Canadian GDP for April was
slightly higher than expected, 10bps Vs 0bps.
On the domestic front, Chicago
PMI expanded in June, but below consensus, 51.6 Vs 55.0.
The University of Michigan
consumer sentiment survey came in higher than consensus, 84.2 Vs 83.0.
