Today they are a few PMI composite
reports on the calendar. France PMI in April contracted, but slightly less than
expected, 44.3 vs 44.3.
Germany PMI composite contracted in
April as well, but less than expected 49.2 Vs 48.8.
The EMU PMI composite contracted too,
but less than expected 46.9 vs 46.5.
Retail sales in the EU declined
less than expected on a monthly basis, -10bps Vs -20bps

Reports
Tonight we will get a PMI reading
from Japan.
Tomorrow will be a slow day for
economic reports. Here are the reports that merit the most attention: Australia’s
central bank policy announcement, consumer credit and the Chinese trade report.
Trades
Tonight PMI report from Japan
could possibly push the Yen to new lows. US stocks won’t get moving until Tuesday
night in light of the Chinese trade report.
